Choosing favorite posts is like choosing a favorite child.  But, because I’ve been asked, here are some of my favorites from the past, my oldies but goodies:)  They are roughly in order of publication date, oldest first.

Picture Imperfect – I have always hated having my picture taken.  Oh the tricks I have tried!

Of Cankles and Saddlebags – Some of my body parts provoke a love/hate relationship.  Time to focus on the ones I love:)

Open Mouth, Insert Food, Repeat – Mindless snacking rears its ugly head when I read a book or turn on the TV.

Skinny Cows and Other Landmines – Everything in moderation?  Not for this yo-yo dieter.

The Oddity of Passing Time – Have you ever noticed that time passes in direct correlation to whatever is happening in your life?

Digressions of a Mother – I consider being a mom to be my greatest accomplishment.  Happy birthday to my oldest.

Is Food a 4-Letter Thought? – Every day at some point I have to consciously think about NOT eating.

Does Your Chewing Gum Lose Its Flavor on the Bedpost Overnight? – Here I sit, chomping away on my fourth piece of gum today, wondering how much is too much.

More Than a Number – I cannot control the scale I can only control my actions.  I finally realize this is about more than a magic number.

Hunger Pains – I have been thinking a lot about hunger lately.  Is it in my head or in my belly?

The Proverbial Wagon – As a yo-yo dieter, I can say, from much personal experience, that it is easier to stay on the weight-loss wagon than to get back on after falling off.

WON’Tpower – Where did someone come up with using the word “willpower” for dieting?

Twenty Minutes – My basketball analogy epiphany; it’s a great one:)

Second Chances – What would you change if you could go back to any one day in the past and do things differently?

Which Came First?  The Cheat or the Pre-Cheat? – My new terminology to describe a habit I need to break.

I Want To Hold Your Ha-a-a-a-aannnd – The power of the blog community.

The Day the Spoons Disappeared – A comment left on this post was the final straw I needed to break my obsession with peanut butter.

Today My Glass Is Full of Candor – The post where I poured my heart out about being honest in my writing and was rewarded by my amazing reader comments.

I Only Look Normal – What I hope for in a normal relationship with food someday.

Pee-O-Meter – My little revelation about the correlation between what I eat and my nightly visits to the tinkletorium.

What’s In a Name – How I became “Waisting Time.”

Behind the Blogging Curtain – An inside look at my blogging process.
